All three of our PB Jerky Treats are certified by the Upcycled Food Association (UFA). UFA is a nonprofit business focused on reducing food waste by growing the upcycled food economy. What is upcycled food? Upcycled ingredients are those that are unable to be used and would have previously gone to waste. An example would be a surplus of that raw material. These ingredients have then been repurposed into other high-quality products. By purchasing products certified by UFA, you are helping to create a need for high-quality products from otherwise wasted but perfectly nutritious ingredients.
